1. I do her dishes.
2. I pay her to use her laundry machine.
3. I clean the house from time to time.
4. I spend 95% of my time in my room out of her way and the other 5% in the kitchen making food. I eat in my room. I never even use the living room.
5. My friends go straight into my room when they come over.
6. I never leave anything of mine laying around outside my room, except cookware which I immediately put back into their original places.
7. I used to drive her around when she didn't have her car.
8. I'm very quiet and tidy.
Sooooo basically you're her bitch. Maybe you should stand up to her instead of complaining about your situation on internet message boards.

I don't see how having common decency is "being someone's bitch."

1. I have to do my dishes, so I might as well do her dishes at the same time. Whatever. Throw in dishwasher and done.
2. She owns the laundry machine.
3. She cleans the house from time to time also. What's wrong with keeping the house clean?
4. My room and the kitchen and bathroom are all that I really need. I really have no USE for anything else.
5. Again, my friends and I have no use for any room other than mine, since that's where the computer + movies + sound system are.
6. Self explanatory. Cleaning up after yourself isn't just for kids.
7. Why not? It's either that or have her walk in a blizzard or rainstorm or across campus by herself in the middle of the night (she's been raped before).
8. What's wrong with quiet and tidy?

Up to this point I've just been taking everything in stride. The year's almost over and it's just little things anyway. Not to mention I AM going to be following this up with a face to face talk... sheesh.

you arent her bitch, but i also dont think leaving a nasty note is a good idea. the "sugarcoating" was a nice way of telling you what she wants but not being hardcore mean about it. she obviously doesnt like the smell (i wouldnt either) but didnt want you to hate her so she said something nice. grow up.

so YOU'RE the one. I always wondered who was responsible for that "stew/soup whiff" I smell whenever I walk through apartment hallways

She has to respect your authorithai! You live there too. Buy febreeze/oust/that thing that goes puff. My current roomies complain when i cremate my steak every other day, so i bought the thing that goes puff and makes a nice smell. In addition they respect my authorithai!

What I read from your original post:
"I'm overly sensitive and everything that a woman says to me, I take personally". I'm pretty sure the black hair thing was a joke too.

I have a roommate with his g/f here for almost a week now. If I call his mom, things would be very bad for him.

?? Why would things be bad for him?

Sounds like he needs to share his g/f with you. 😀

Living with a girl is easy, as long as you put in a half assed effort and show you care about somthing once in a while you'll be fine!

Trust me i did this last year, she only had about 6 tantrums and ran away threatning to move out once (other flatmates fault). Adopt somthing, or send £1 to charity, and she will forget all about the pressure cooker. Remember to remind her regularly that you sent money to charity or adopted somthing needy & cute!
You seem to have a pretty low opinion of women. I wonder, are you the product of a broken home? Raised primarily by your single mother maybe?

Never lived with a girl have you? 24/7 drama man. If there isn't some crisis going on she'll make up a reason to call you at work with her problems.
