Remember Teddy Roosevelt? Who could shoot, box and wrestle, who a took a bullet at a speech and then continued the speech and mocked the guy who shot him? Wtf did conservatives go so, so wrong that they now follow an imperious, cowardly piece of treasonous shit in a diaper? Honor the troops? Fuck you it's windy.

And that wasn't a slip of the tongue, he said her name four times
Last sentence from an AP news article on Haley's response:

'Since entering the GOP race nearly a year ago, Haley, 52, has advocated for “mental competency tests” for older politicians, a swipe at the ages of both Trump and Biden.'

Can't disagree with her there, assuming it's for more than just the oval office. Congress needs to blow out those cobwebs too IMO.

Well he has a set number of attacks. He knows his base is too stupid to pay attention. So he doesn’t care he sounds like an idiot as long as MAGAtards cheer.

The 2024 Trump voter archetype—an aging Boomer loser whose family hates him, who wants nothing more than for Trump to tear the country apart and have everyone share in his misery.

And has zero clue what is actually going on in the world because their brain worms are sponsored by Fox/OANN.

It's amazing that they think they can win with violence... without receiving any in return.
But of course they are not thinking, because as a human they are delusional. As if one can break the system without breaking the peace.

As General John Kelly said, “God help us.

“I have no trust,” he said.

“The system you served,” I said again.

“That’s right. I swore an oath,” he said. “I believed in that oath.”

“When did you stop believing?” I asked Ted Johnson.

“About when Trump became president,” he answered.

That guy's definitely lost and really quite icky.
A description that applies to this douche canoe that I read about the MAGAt voter somewhere, probably on the Guardian but I'm not sure:

Trump rules by fear in his party but lacks the love of his nation. For many voters, it is not love but loathing.

Teddy was massively overrated.

Something to think about, there's reason why Putin aped so much of the Teddy tough mythos stuff. I think Teddy also might be the most similar US President to Hitler. By that I'm basing it on the mythos and his beliefs and policies (Teddy was a virulent nationalist that believe white people are inherently superior, and that fed his desire at US Imperialism; add in some nationalist based socialism where he realized the devastating economic situation so he "lifted the poor" but that only went so far; both also went from being sickly pathetic when young to talking about tough shit all the time).

Also, Lincoln would've kicked Teddy's ass. For real. Lincoln was a real badass, but he saved that shit for blustering assholes that wanna be tough, not out of some vain need to be portrayed as the ultimate alpha male like Teddy.

Hell, Teddy's conservativism of nature was basically cause he wanted to be able to go out and shoot-murder animals himself and his puffed up belief about how nature turned him from the sickly little boy to a Real Man.

His trust-busting was also pretty full of shit. He threatened coal workers with federal military to stop them from unionizing, and then helped enable one of the staunchest trusts in American history in US Steel.
