Those are poor angles to tell the condition of the tire, but it looks very badly worn. I would look at all of your other tires also. Measure the tread on the innner, outer, and middle of each one, because it looks likes that tire wearing improperly, but that may have been due to the excessive wear during the blowout.

motherfvcker....the garage just called me. The alignment got fvcked up by whatever I hit. The back tire also apparently had chips out of the side(likely from hitting the curb while parking, I do that alot, unlike louie devito i hit the curb not cars 😛) and needs to be replaced, and my front brakes are 90% worn down, and the rotors are cracked. he said the total bill would be $600...thats just what I need.

do the rotors and brakes yourself.

Well, I can't say I know how...but I don't have $600 so I told him just to do the tires for now...I just had those brakes replaced last April as well, when the entire motor was replaced, how the hell do they get that worn down that fast?

They may not be worn and the shop is trying to scam you. I have had shops claim things like this to me before, and thats why i do my own maintenance. 😀

But, if the rotor is severely damaged, it woudl eat up the pads pretty quickly, but you would have heard it and felt it in the pedal.

I don't know about your breaks, but it looks like your alignment may have been messed up a bit before the crash. There was a LOT of uneven wear on your tires. (The pics show the steel belt showing through the rubber in several spots on your tires).

Either you or your car is cursed. This is what, the 12th time you've had serious to semi-serious issues with your Grand-Am? I own a 94 Grand-Am too and haven't had anywhere near as many problems as you.

Talk to TommyVercetti, he's best friends with God. Maybe he can talk to god and tell him to stop trying to kill you

Your tire looks very unevenly worn, as others have said. There appears to be lots of tread left on the outside of the tire, and almost none left on the inside. Plus, it appears you were driving on the cords for a while before it blew out. I bet your ex boogered your alignment when she hit that curb causing the tire to need replacement in the first place.

Also, brakes are easy to do yourself. You just need a decent set of hand tools, and maybe a cheap specialty bit to get the caliper bolts out. Brakes (especially disc brakes) are easy to do, but become more complicated when the lines are disconnected, cause then you have to bleed them. Brake parts aren't that expensive either, expect to pay about $17-30 for pads, and maybe $20-60 each for rotors. If you get them done at a shop, you'll pay twice what a store will charge for the same parts, plus labor. Good luck.

My rear tires did the same thing, except instead of blowing out, they just went flat one night. It was because of my way off alignment in the back. Toe actually.

Gods not trying to kill you . . . I AM.

Watch yourself. I overinflated that tire to an insane level of pressure that your head would pop if I told you.

You have foiled my plots long enough. The end is coming. By "the" I mean "your."
