Yeah, I saw it on TV after logging out last night.

It most certainly did not get the 2/3 majority needed to pass. The Chairman (Mayor V of LA?) looked stupefied. He called for a vote 3 times? That just cemented the fact it failed, yet he declared it passed anyway. (A political pro would have just done that on the first vote, no need to hammer home it was rigged. I thought I saw instructions to vote "Yes" on the TV monitors the delegates can see? My God, what a mess.)

Something's wrong at the Dem convention, or in the organization. IMO, David Axelrod is far too smart, slick and organized to let this fustercluck happen. Someone other than him must actually be in charge. Something is up.

They are not as smart as we give them credit, unfortunately the Republican party is too politically correct to take advantage.

Yup, the party elites rule the day, unlike in the Republican party where the psychopaths are in control and folk like you are just little piss and shills forced into a state of delusion to keep from vomiting your last meal.

The Dems are in a circular hate fest today and the anarchy going on at the DNC is contagious!

Personally, I am in this kind of a mood today -

"The officials said Obama's reaction on the omission of God from the platform was to wonder why it was removed in the first place."

The ironic thing is that despite president Obama being (literally) all ears (those dawgs are big) he doesn't hear or know what is going on in his party, he is always so surprised.

Again, makes me wonder who the h3ll is in charge of this convention? It sure isn't Axlerod. I wonder if it's Wasserman? Or no one (as in a bunch of unsupervised, uncoordinated committees just doing their thing)?

I'm sure the White House had to sign off on it.

There's nothing like chaos to scare the shit out of conservatives and give liberals the time of their life. It's just a testament to the to the power of our brains to handle all the grays and shades and colors of the rainbow. Not to worry, what to a simpleton looks like chaos is to a liberal a rather boring order.

Good, too bad they caved and returned to pandering to bible thumper like the kooks on the right. Talk of superstition and magic men does not belong in a plotical party platform, it is very exclusive.

The God you don't believe in doesn't exist. Because you don't know about the God that does exists doesn't mean shit. You can take your bigotry and shove it up your ass or join some atheist party. The democratic party is big tent, and includes folk who believe in all manner of delusions and facts. It's because I'm liberal and can forgive you for your bigoted ignorance that I can have you in my party. These truths I tell you are self evident, that so long as there is a place on earth where humans are thought to have inalienable rights, God is real because rights adhere to being. God is where the sacred manifests.
