Waking in my vomit usually gets me to swear off the bottle for 4-6 months. Then I give myself a reminder again

drink wisely, and don't succumb to your buddies calling you a wuss because you aren't keeping up with rounds of shots that are coming your way.
it's not worth feeling like crap the next day.

thrice. once in Tiujana, once in Scotland, and once in Syndey. 3rd time in sydney was the charm for me. I'm sure ending up in jail had something to do with it too. The irony of it all was being invited for a drink from the judge who oversaw my case.

I still drink every once in a while, but it's limited to Opus One, Pappy Van winkle and, occasionally, baileys on the rocks. never together, of course.
