God, I hate the Greek system at my University.

That's why I'm grateful that I didn't go to a school with a big greek system, even though the Corps of Cadets is just one massive fraternity.

lulz

honestly, how can you hate on sorority sluts? Just wrap it up and goto town man. Most of them were definitely tapable pointy elbows and all.

My Greek years in college were awesome. Wouldn't trade that experience in for anything.

There, now you guys have some fodder. 🙂

Fuck you! 😉

Just to note, I usually make fun of either college depending on whom I'm speaking with. 😀 When people were trying to get me to "choose a side", I joked once about putting a "House Divided" license plate on my car, and the person looked at me confused for a second, "but... you're the only person in your home."

"EXACTLY!"

I thought it was worthless and left after a year. I had no qualms with the people, but nothing really changed for me. I can become a close friend with someone without paying $300 per semester in dues. Plus, you still get free alcohol if you don't pledge, because they're still trying to rush/recruit you! 😉

I enjoyed my time in my fraternity.

It sucks that there's nothing really like it once you're an adult.

White girls rapping always gives me a sad face 🙁

Besides...weren't Greeks the ones that liked butt play with boys?

My undergrad (Rice) didn't have a greek system, which I thought was awesome. Everyone drank together for the most part.

Where I'm doing grad school (Cornell) the greek system is huge, but as a grad student it doesn't impact me for the most part. However, there are a few bars that during the school year tend to be full of bros and sorority girls that I won't go to. This place is so much nicer in the summer but all the undergraduates are coming back next week and that sucks.

And man, our softball team (Mechanical Engineering Ph.D. students) was so close to winning the summer championship, against a frat team. We (visitors) had an 8-5 lead going into the bottom of the last inning, but just fell apart and gave up 4 runs. It was brutal - I wanted to win that one pretty badly.
