Why do athiests get mad when a religious person says they are going to Hell? If you truly are an athiest that shouldn't mean jack sh1t to you.

<< Haha, whenever I see the crazy religious people on the road with signs that say "You're going to hell." >>

I hear this kind of allegation, or similar, here all the time. Strange, in all my 46 years of life I've never encountered a single religious whacko like you people are always claiming are harassing you.

The problem is that there are always people who want to be loud and arrogant. There are annoying Christians and atheists who push their crap on everyone else. There are way more people that are quiet about what they believe than those that are obnoxious. I'm more agnostic than anything else (I think, but its unimportant and I'm not sure/don't care), and I think Christians as a whole are a bunch of stupid bitches; however I don't really say that very often or very outwardly. I'm sure there are a lot of people who think I'm a stupid bitch; partly because people hit me with that from time to time :D.

Atheists aren't the only ones. There's pleeeenty of arrogant religious folk out there.

That whole Ten Commandments thing in public places is a weird issue. The people in favor of it seem to think that a sign that has "don't kill" among its words will prevent kids from killing in school, or that the commandments will somehow prevent people from lying under oath in court.

The christmas tree thing - yeah, that was just stupid. Heck, here, my parents and I are atheists, and my sister is still unsure - atheist/buddist. We have a Christmas tree every year; we do the whole Easter thing - eggs, candy - well, used to. Getting older, and a financial crunch for our family have staved it off a bit this year. Going to see what's on sale tomorrow.:D Heck, I'm even ok with allowing various versions of the Bible, Koran, and other holy writings available in public or school libraries.
