LakerGod,

Got to stop rolling that eye man, that can't possibly be good for your eyes. Try rolling both eyes in a gradual angular velocity so you don't get too hurt.

Speak for yourself. I'm not the one who's not a fan of either team, yet takes the oppotunity to inject some hate about the Lakers into every Kings/Lakers thread.

Whose a fan, yousa fan, Isa fan of of something else, but the only hating I see is coming from the Laker fans towards the media, the non-laker fans, the sky, the moon, the clouds, the Republicans.

OK, now you are WAAAAAY reaching, and even you know it.

Reaching for what? I made a comment that the it's sad that it's sad the media are getting pissed all over. Isn't that sad? I think it is.

All I see is a basketball fan complaining about the horrible NBC coverage, which everyone bitches about. Laker fans, Kings fans, Spurs fans, whatever, 90% of NBA fans probably can't stand the fluffy NBC broadcasts. I'm sure Kings fans would rather see their local station cover it, and I know I'd rather see the local Laker stations cover it. Do you Kings fans enjoyed seeing Heather Locklear interviewed about the game while their team was rolling?

You made a comment that Laker fans were bashing "their own media." When I pointed out that NBC broadcasts are national and not Laker fans "own media," you quickly came up with that "isn't NBC everyone's media" crap. That is reaching.

NBC gets pissed all over regardless if the Lakers win or not. Even if the Lakers are up 40 points, I bitch about NBC and TNT, because their coverage SUCKS. I can't stand the fact that the local Laker stations are not allowed to broadcast games because NBC has the huge contract. NBC and TNT suck, and they are especially bad when the game is a blowout and there are other games on that night, because we get subjected to "bonus coverage."

Your media, my media, everybody's media. The media belongs to everyone that ain't reaching. Man, they bring the fans free games and people still dont like them, I think that's sad. I guess around LA you got to bring people free Pizza and Coke to be liked.

I for one like NBC for bringing me quality shows such as fear factor, the NBA, Jay Leno, Cona O'brian,Everybody Loves Raymond , Just Shoot me, Friends...etc

Reaching once more. You know what you mean when you said "omg this is so sad. lakers fan lashing out at their own media," so why do you keep turning it around?

Do you really think NBC brings the games to people for free because they like being charitable? They bring the games for free because they get paid ridiculous ad money. They get my money one way or another, so I'll complain about them if I want. Plus, their large contract with the NBA specifically prohibits the local stations, who cover the teams the entire season (granted, for ad money as well) from covering their team on TV during the playoffs. I would much rather listen and watch Chick n Stu cover the Lakers, and I'm sure the Sac fans would much rather see their local stations covering the Kings. NBC even highjacks regular season games as well. I have NBA League pass on DirecTV, but if a game is on NBC I don't get it on league pass. On some days, there are two different NBC games going on at once for different markets, but I can only watch the one covered for my market, because the other one is blacked out on the dish. This is because of NBC's stranglehold on the NBA. The games should be covered by the local stations in the local areas, and nationally by NBC everywhere else. Thank god NBC lost the contract. I don't know if ABC will be any better, but NBC was getting way stale with their coverage.

What does NBC's program lineup have to do with the topic at hand? Oh yeah, I see it now, the direct corollation between Conan O' Brien and the NBA on NBC. It was so obvious I dont know how I missed it.

NBC is a great network and a testament to todays television...for me to poop on.

Bob Costas was one of the best NBC announcers, but unfortunately he's not doing it anymore. He and Doug Collins were the best duo NBC ever had. Marv Albert is good too, but the rest of the broadcasting team sucks pretty badly. Walton is a moron, he's not accurate and half the things he says are contrary to what's actually happening. The rest of the guys spend the entire time making fun of how stupid Walton is and it ends up being a horrible broadcast with little to no chemistry at all. Chick and Stu are GREAT and are prob. the best duo out there in broadcasting.

Did you notice the bad spelling in your post before you hit the Reply to Thread button? In any case I'm not a Laker fan, I actually root for the Timberwolves. Your continually deteriorating argument against your original point made me chuckle though.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot...

Why yes I did, actually, I've noticed that in all my post.

What the hell are you talking about? I'm not arguing just pointing things out

Just ask Tommy Lee..........he'd probably even answer that question on live TV. :D

whenever I'm back in LA watching a Laker game on NBC, I just turn down the volume on the TV and tune to AM 570 :) Although, last time I was down there (last weekend) I remember him saying something about CBS buying something out? Did something happen? Does Chick no longer broadcast on 570?

I find it interesting that the Laker fans hate Walton so much when he is obviously having an affair with the whole team.

"Robbert Horry is such a great three point shooter."
"Shaq is the best player in the game today."
"Kobe is the best this game has ever seen."
"Rick Fox is such a deadly three point shooter."
"Derek Fisher is a solid point guard."
"Samaki Walker is one of the best sixth men around."

He, much like the rest of the NBA, is absolutely in love with the Lakers.
