Doom 3 expansion is 515 megs.

I got it in less than a minute.

That would only be 8.5MB/s. Seems a bit slow.

When I used an ethernet connection in a newer building at Indiana University, I was able to download Borderlands 2 in less than 4 minutes.

There's also a company near Bloomington called Smithville that provided the network for a 500-people LAN war. I think that connection was something like 300+ down, 100+ up.

Still, doesn't beat Google Fiber...
