I was in a computer shop today looking to buy some more CDR's when I came across these. Jeezz, for 5 80Min CDR's Branded they were charging £20.00 (Appx $32).

The shop is called PC World and is a shop in the UK, it's one of those shops that plagues off of the uneducated computer buyer/user. They are handy now and then when you need bits and pieces in a rush. They also charge £49.99 (Appx $80) for the Internet Explorer Mouse.

Their moto is 'We will not be beaten on price'. Muhahahaha!!! what a load 'o Sh!te!!!

;)

Yes, I know. PC World prices are a joke. Mind you staples weren't much better than those CDR prices until recently. £20.00 for 10 80 minute CDRs.

However, if you want CDRs in the UK then you could do a lot worse than The CD-ROM Cellar.

http://www.cdromcellar.com

eg. Verbatim 80 minute discs in jewel cases, 100 for £82.50 to your door. Or 100 unbranded 80 minute discs on a spindle for £40.00.

Not connected with them at all, just rather impressed by their prices.

I got some 80 Min CDR's from PC world last month I got 30 for £20 which wasnt too bad, I needed them that day so had no choice.

Although I just ordered 50 80 Min CDR from www.jungle.com, includes free delivery.
