Cities in for the bid:

Love it or hate it, the rest of the world still loves it. The US has all the facilities, the infrastructure and the resources to pull off an amazing world cup. Something like this will no doubt help the economy. Just thought i'd bring it up, it's got over 1 million signatures and they are still looking for more. The bid needs more fans if FIFA is even going to consider it. So, give your support, because you love your country or because you love the sport.

While i wouldn't mind seeing the USA host another major sporting event, and while Denver DOES have some world class soccer facilities...

I do NOT want my work travel to be fucked up due to soccer traffic.. so i will not vote

I remember living in New Jersey when they had it in 1994. Italy's team stayed in a hotel in the small town I lived near because they had a match against Ireland at Giants stadium in East Rutherford. My dad remembers getting on a flight in Newark the day after Ireland beat Italy and sitting next to a bunch of irish fans who were painted green and hammered from celebrating all night.

Last time we hosted there were 9 stadiums. With 34 games total, that should be no more than 4 games per a stadium, except the largest stadium will probably host the later, bigger games. I don't think the traffic would suffer too much...but then again, I wasn't of driving age when we hosted last.

Yea, i really doubt it will affect it that much. Imagine south africa, they barely have any infrastructure and can handle it just fine. The Sherriff depts. across the country run sporting events 7/365, specially baseball and basketball, who have the longer seasons.

If we get it at least put it in a Southern California beach city so we can flaunt the amazing weather we have and snub our noses at the rest of the world with their shitty climate.

It's funny, I was about to call some of you curmudeons or spoiled sports, but then I remembered I would have very happily voted against the stupid Olympics coming here.

Thats what comes with the so called "beautiful game".
Never mind its a sh*t game to begin with. There is no win with soccer and the us. You win you lose, you lose you lose.

I don't see how you call it a shit game when the game is dominant in over 96% of the world.

regardless if you like the sport or not hosting it is a win win situation, we have the stadiums and the infrastructure to pull it off flawlessly and its great for the economy

I do hope you guys get it and have some games in Seattle. I would most definitely go to one, even if it was some loser countries playing.
