For some reason my computer will no longer go into hibernation. I was having the problem before I reloaded XP, and then after reloading it worked for awhile. Now it is once again refusing to automatically hibernate. I am told that a driver conflict can cause this, but how would I know which drivers could be causing the problem? I have the power scheme set properly in the control panel. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks very much. MjrTom

check your BIOS settings, make sure ACPI and all that jazz is enabled.

Everything is set in the bios correctly. I still can't figure it out...

Anyone have any ideas on this....it's driving me nuts and I can't find an answer on any other forum. If I can't find the answer here, there must be no hope...

Why not just make a round of updating all your drivers? Video, sound, etc..

Also, flashing your BIOS is a posibiltiy.
