NO! don't see this movie!!!.. it sucks worse than anything I have EVER seen! maybe xionide feels ripped off and thinks that making others go see this garbage will make him feel better. tom hanks had such a good streak of winners going until this. xionide, you should be ashamed of yourself for this recommendation!

I liked it, not one of the Coen brothers best movies but still worth watching. DId you see the way Marlon Wayans was holding his gun that made me laugh... I think there was a post about that here a while ago lol

I liked it but apparently the original is much better. I loved Tom Hank's character tho!:D

Not bad, if definitely not one of the Coen Bros' best. It was like a carpet unrolling in a way - IMO it kept getting funnier and funnier over time. In that respect, just the opposite of their last outing, Intolerable Cruelty, which faded in the third act.

Just got back from a date and we went to see this. It was OK. There were some hilarious parts, but the evening was marred by some fvckers that had obnoxious laughs behind us. That made it very hard to understand much of what Hanks said. I think they should have gotten a native southern speaker instead of Hanks.

I just saw it and I loved it. I thought that it started a little slow but then really picked up.

I saw this over the weekend and thought it was pretty lame. From the previews I thought it was going to be funny, but it ended up being just a bunch of hard to believe unfunny roles. Tom hanks did a decent job with the role he was given, but the writing just sucked. If you haven't forked over the $$$ yet -- don't. It's either not worth watching, or perhaps worth watching on DVD for those who like infantile humor.......
