Such is the nature of heresy, and this is why it is so hard to destroy, for it must be eradicated leaf, branch, trunk and root. It must be exorcised utterly or it will return all the stronger, time and time again, until it is too great to destroy. Then we are doomed.

It's a known fact that witches can turn to smoke and escape any jail cell. I find it important to execute her to prevent this from happening.

Bible says suffer not a witch to live. Hope they use fire, as a beheaded witch can come back as an evil spirit.

The Bible also has some interesting things to say about Jesus Christ... something about him being the son of God, him dying for the sins of mankind, the need to follow his path to salvation... The Saudis don't seem to keen to follow that part of the Bible, why would they care what it says about witches?

As much fun as it is to see the humor here, at the heart of this story is an innocent woman who will be killed for something Western civilaztions stopped prosecuting a few hundred years ago. It's a disgusting perversion of justice that will leave this woman dead. And no one will care. You won't see billions of muslims rising up around the world to defend this woman or champion her cause or say "You're perverting the Quran." At the end of the day, people will go back to their lives and ignore that this grotesque act has been carried out in the name of a God they worship.

I try to be understanding of people's religion, but give me a fucking break.

Well we did stop burning people for it, but every time a harry potter book came out, book burnings were held in various spots across the US by christian fundies to save our children from becoming witches.
