Which is your Christmas tree?

Fake here, but I think it sheds more than an old real one. :\

Fake. As nice as a real one might be due to the smell and what not, I find it's a total waste to be cutting down a perfectly healthy tree just for the sake of using it for a month and then throwing it out. That, and I have a cat, and most plants are poisonous to cats. They can also get hurt if they chew or eat the needles as well. What I hate is that stores sell real trees now too, that's even a bigger waste because I'm sure they don't sell all of them. If you're going to get a real tree, half of the experience is to actually go in the bush and pick one.

I cut up a bunch of branches from a tree so I can get the pine smell then it occurred to me that it might be dangerous for the cat so I googled it and it is dangerous after all so that was a waste. I shoved some in the humidifier but that did nothing lol.

Uh, you should just ignore the problem. Your cat will understand and ignore you at will.

What kind of cat? Marinade recommendations.

In any case, I'm not a fan of real. Any persistent smell quickly becomes like having Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber sitting in a corner making his "most annoying sound in the world" for hours on end without passing out.

Put the Google down and step away, nobody gets hurt.

always had a real tree growing. i bought a fake one after i moved to my own house but i didn't even bother to put it up this year. it's just me and my dog and no one comes over here, so figured whats the point?

Real is the only way to go.

And 100's of trees will be thrown away unsold after every x'mas so me buying one or not really doesn't make much difference in the grand scheme of things.

Why shower, shave or, take the trash out? It's just you and your dog. It would be nice if you asked some one over. I know your dog would appreciate it.

Yeah I hate that stores even sell them, what a waste. If you're going to get a real tree the real experience is to go cut one down in the bush. Going to the store is just lazy. Just get a fake tree at that point.

Some of the fake ones look incredibly real now too. My mom recently got a new one and it's crazy how real it looks and even feels. Mine is an older hand me down that I got when I bought my house, but it gets the job done.

I have a blue spruce in my front yard, one of these days I want to rent a scissor lift or something and permanently put a couple 100w worth of LED lights in there. 😀
