Mogliny is BANK... why did NJ ever let him go?? Oh well, looks like Sens may be making the early exit again... a Toronto vs NJ series are always good 😉

Af first when someone suggest that this thread can potentially generate 5000 response, I was perplexed.
But after viewing the play by play review of game 1, I have been enlightened. 😀
it would be AWESOME to see Vancouver and Toronto in the finals.Originally posted by: yayo

Wheres Rand when you need him! 😀
Not gonna be following the thread too closely this year.
I've migrated over to a hockey forum for Leafs discussion... and work has been taking up too much time.
My original prediction was Leafs in 7 in a tight physical series....
But I'm not so sure any more. 🙁
We're cursed. Missing Wesley and Gilmour was bad, but we could do without them for a short time.... plus Wesley will be back for game 3, Gilmour looks to be ready for the second round.
Now Tucker may be injured as well.... losing him would hurt but we could manage.
Antropov though?
He's our #2 Center, and now he's out with a broken ankle.
Sundin was out 2 weeks when he broke his ankle, and Antropov is younger so he may recover quicker.
However even if he does come back quick he certainly won't be 100% for awhile.
I don't think Toronto will be able to pull it off anymore 🙁
Why oh why must we be cursed with injuries?!
Last year we were practically the St Johns Leafs in the playoff we had so many damn injuries... it seems like we're back to that trend.

He was a free agent and by the way.......... this is the last year on his contract so he always plays well 😀
Cheers,

I am a huge leaf fan, but they have been outplayed in both games of the series so far. They were downright lucky to have won game one and not to have been shutout in game two. If they have any chance of winning this series, they will need to pull their heads out of their a$$e$ and start playing hockey. They need to do more than just show up...
