OMG.... I never would have believed it but the Leafs did it, they scored.
21.8 seconds to go.
And it's Sundin, their top player.
And Roberts their saviour all playoffs with the assist.

I just pray this won't be a repeat of game 2, when Mogilny scored with 7 seconds to go in the game to tie it but the Leafs still lost in OT. Had the Leafs won that game it would have been 2-0 Toronto in the series, and they might be in a very different position right now.

1) I hate the leafs.

2) I hope they lose the most heartbreaking way a team can lose.

Ah well, the Leafs showed a lot of desire all playoffs, and they played very well under the circumstances.
A Conference finals showing is no shame...

This is the third? time in the last 8 years or so they've been to the conference finals.


My bets on the Avs to beat Detroit, and they'll likely take Carolina in 5... 6 at the most.
I wish the Canes luck though, unlike the Devils I don't terribly mind losing to the Canes if it has to happen.
Roy will invariably pull out his typical playoff heroics and ensure the Avs pull down Detroit, and from their a short step from overcoming what will likely be a huge mis-match when they take on Carolina.

 
Yes Rand, another thread next year. It's pretty obvious what team has the best fans, THE TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS! Toronto and the fans of Toronto deserves it more than any, but what can you do.

 
Way to go Canes, on to the Stanley Cup Finals!!! Man the suspense was killing me towards the end of the 3rd and in OT.

Leafs played a great series though too, especially CuJo, he's not gonna have a problem finding a new job next season thanks to his performance in this series.
