I think the guy got arrested. It made surprisingly big news here. I heard about it multiple times and didnt even watch the game.

But FWIW, people that live in Toronto are Canada's shittiest, with very few exceptions.
Good. On TV it looked like they didn't arrest anybody.
So Toronto is the Philadelphia/Chicago of Canada?

hmm. no. I'd say its more that Toronto is the Manhattan/Portland of Canada, with a large dose of superiority complex. Self entitled arrogant hipster douchebags is the best way I can put it.

Portland isn't that bad. The real Portland, anyway.

And no, they haven't arrested the dude that threw the beer on the field. WTF. How did NOBODY in the stands point him out or stop him.
Again, I'd turn in my own mom if she did that shit. Seriously don't understand this.

Can of beer was thrown...buncha idiots

Partially full beer can which could have caused a concussion if it hit him. Fucking irresponsible and a plain felony. Word is now that people were also yelling racial slurs. I'm guessing if it was from the beer can throwers, it was anti-Asian. The other fielder who went to yell at the fans looked African-American. Ya, nice job, racists.

Also -- fuck you blue Jays fans. TWO years in a row you throw shit on the field? And it looked like nobody even called the dude out last night. I don't think anyone got ejected? Somebody next to me, even my own mother, throws a can on the field, and I'm pointing her out to authorities. F that.

A Blue Jays fan but totally with you. They're still looking for the guy. There's good quality camera footage so they should hopefully get him.

That was what the post-season, ESPECIALLY the 1 game wild card playoffs, are all about. What a great game.
Where the hell was Britton-- one of the best closers/pitchers in the game and he's not brought in? What a joke.

can we get subject changed to "Post Season Baseball Thread"? Or I'm just going to start another one...

The Jays just saved the future humiliation coming for the Orioles when their starting pitching was exposed as horrendous. Yeah the O's can sure hit some bombs but no amount of offense will cover your ass and make you a serious World Series threat when your supposed 'ace' Tillman might not even be the fifth starter on the other playoff teams.

See, and people say baseball is boring. How was last night boring? And don't tell me the 162 game season is boring -- EACH one of those games counts as much as the next. Ask the Cardinals if they would have liked to win a couple more games in mid-July.

What's the deal with the Texas Rangers' field. Balls seem to just drop and die, there's no bounce to anything. Or am I too used to the faux grass in Toronto...
