Sorry to rain on your parade, but have you guys read the story about a student who was killed after the goal posts came down just about a month ago? I think it was a Division II game. Not the best way to celebrate.

If you're so concerned about saving lives on college campuses, you should start by leading a crusade against binge drinking, hazing, something else. One death by goal post is a FLUKE and won't be repeated. kthxbye

Responding to a request by the police to cease and desist by doing the very action we are ordered not to do, in plain view of them, is generally not a very smart thing to do.

There was a small gate open on the northwest corner, by the bursar's office, so no climbing of fences was involved.

The other thing that I hate is the way the media will invariably bill the Fresno State/USC game as an "instant classic," a "battle of the titans," or some other BS. It was a good game, don't get me wrong, but that's just because neither one had an defense. I do really wish the bulldogs had pulled of the upset, though.
