If yankees pretend to be canadian, europeans are going to start hating canadians too. :p

I suppose most of the arrogant americans are too 'patriotic' to pose as a canadian anyways, so it works itself out. ;)

Quite frankly I'd say FVCK anyone who decides to "go canadian". I have nothing against Canada, but instead a huge beef with people ashamed of the United States of America. If Canada is better, move there. If you cant handle politics while visiting another country, dont visit a country thats so anti american. Sh1t, dont even leave the US to begin with. Heck, I've worn an American Flag on my sleeve every damn day that I've been out of the states. Of course its backwards, and part of my uniform :D Bring on the politics asshole foreigners!

One bad thing about that is that Canadian tourists are viewed as one of the most arrogant and rude tourists. Americans are ranked as the most polite and generous tourists.

really? i didnt know that.

Edit:
When i went to europe this past March i took a backpack with me that i had for years which i had put a small 4 x 6 american flag on it. I actually took the flag off during the trip because i didn't want to have any problems while traveling.

Yep

Americans were judged the most courteous and the British the rudest, alongside the Russians and Canadians.

It's from 2002, but the same came out in the 2004 survey.

Nope, see above. Canadians like to say that they're polite and nice, but they don't really practice it.

Take your head out of the sand now :)
