GN: New EVGA RTX 2060 'KO' based on 'binned' RTX 2080 dies, faster at CUDA than regular 2060 cards?

They mostly used Blender to compare, but it seems that this new line-up of RTX 2060 "KO" cards from EVGA, is based on NVidia TU-104-150-KA-A1 dies or somesuch, and are really cut-down TU104 (RTX 2080, 2070 Super) dies, and have performance improvements in CUDA applications (but NOT gaming) over the "normal" TU106 dies normally used in RTX 2060 cards previously released.

SO.

If RTX 2060 "KO" cards have improvements in Blender, and CUDA, would F@H see an uplift? Maybe you can buy cards for 2060 price, that perform close to 2070 Super or 2080, in F@H???

Someone needs to test this!

Edit: Thanks to @Kenmitch for initially post this video link in the Video Cards sub-forum.

Well my 2060 Super, when I had it, did 1.2 Mppd. And I think Biodoc has
the 2070 Super that did 1.5 Mppd, so it will be cool to see where the KO
comes in at.

There is a thread on foldingforum.org about this and one user is reporting 1.3m on a 11738 beta unit. Could just be an outlier as some of the 11738 units get very high numbers (I've had 1.25m on a 1070ti) but we need more data to confirm.

anyone else tried a KO GPU? have been eyeing a 5600XT, but keep remembering about the KO, which would be my only reason for going green, let alone green 192-bit
