gmail = spam magnets?

Like many of you, I've got more than one gmail account. I made one using an invite I had a couple months ago just for the hell of it. I eventually forgot the password, and when I retrieved it and logged in today I found my spam box had 40 messages in it. I've never used this account, either.

Yep. All my gmail accounts get spam, even the ones i've never given the address out.

My primary Gmail account that I use to get into forums = spam everywhere

Secondary gmail accounts that I rarely use but might have signed up to one or two forums = little spam

Gmail account that I never use/give out = no spam

spam free. that was the way with my previous most used email address, until i started using gmail, then i got a ton of spam at my old address.

I just get a few..maybe one a day. But only in one account. All the others are smam free.

At the high point my account had 40 spams in the spam section. Now I have none. None in the inbox, either.

I've only got about 40 but it all goes to your Spam folder anyways, so who cares?

maybe you guys picked easy email accounts like James@gmail.com which bots can pick up in a flash!

I get spam in the account I use (and have given out that address). In my "private" account, 0 (zero) spam.
