those are internal ip addresses aren't they? is that normal for gmail? cause its web-based?

I have no clue - Try to keep this thread near the top to keep people informed. I am sure that 99.9% of the forum members would smell phish <chuckle> but just to be sure. The grammar is horrid, and the story is worse.

Despite the fact that no reputable company will ever ask for passwords or other related information, people still fall for the good old phish email. Sigh.

I think some of the initial posts were that the post was pointless, but you indicated people still fell for it, therefore he is redeemed for posting it.
