Can I have labels put on emails automatically when they arrive in the inbox?

Like by saying a certain email address should always have this label applied when it arrives??

otherwise...whts the freakin point of labels, if I have to manually do it everytime.

Yep - Filters...

I have all my emails come in and automatically get done... Ebay, Fiance, Work, Friends, Parents, etc...
