Gmail on iPhone

Originally I had three email accounts setup on my iphone; two comcast and my gmail. With the release of gmail push I decided to forward the two comcast accounts to gmail and just use that on the iphone. For the most part I guess its ok but I have a couple questions;

1. What is the All Mail folder for? Some new emails show up in that folder and some show up in inbox.

2. Can I get rid of all the extra folders? I just want Inbox, sent and trash, I dont want to see [Gmail], All Mail, Spam, Starred and Drafts.
