Gmail is the coolest!

I bought some parts for the Cobra off a guy over at a SVT forum. Well he ships them out and sends me an email with the tracking number the email looks like this


It shipped today via UPS. I think they said it would be there early next week.

Tracking number: 1Z5XXXXXXXXXXXX869


Well, I guess using the keywords "UPS" "tracking number" and the actual tracking number, gmail makes a hotlink on the right side of the email directly to the tracking page for that item on the UPS website. No punching in the numbers at the UPS website, no nothing, just click the link and im there tracking my order!

I just thought that was a pretty cool feature. 😀

No link in the email. What I posted was exectly what he sent me, the numbers were just numbers, no linkage.

Heh I noticed that after I started looking around gmail for their ads. 🙂
I thought it was a cool feature too when I found that out, because there is no more copying and pasting. Great for people who don't give you a URL or link clicky.
