Gmail is down?

Is gmail down for anyone? it's suddenly not working for me. chat server on the fritz. won't let me access inbox.

I can't access gmail on my windows xp computer running IE 7.0 for about a day. Gmail works fine on my powerbook though.

I'm running xp with 7.0 and have had no problems at all. Today or yesterday.

Major portions of it are down frequently. It is NOT a user problem, it is googles inability to care about it and fix it.
