Gmail Hacked

Well, it is still a beta and people who have invite accounts should realize that. I'm sure google will have it fixed as soon as they can
 
you have to click on someone else's link, which then redirects to gmail. If you always go there directly, you aren't at risk.
 
knowing that gmail is beta, i never really mailed anything important to gmail. yahoo is still the best despite it inserts an ad to your emails

That's what the article made it sound like.

Also, if been a little leery of the "log me in automatically for 2 weeks" option.

Granted storing personal information on a beta email service isnt the smartest thing ever, but the fact remains that there is a huge potential security risk.
