I have 3 labels in gmail like,

label-A
label-B
label-C

some of the mails I receive get filtered as both label-A & label-B.

Is there anyway I can view all the messages that have label-A in them, but NOT label-B ??

I figured it out.

In the search field above the mails if you type in,
label:label-A

It will return all messages with label-A

But if I do,

label:label-A -label:label-B

It will return messages with label-A but NOT label-B. What got me stumped was I was trying to use "NOT" and it just didn't seem to work.

Is there any way to save these searches in gmail? Anyone ?

I found the answer to that too. Among all places it was there in the Labs!

I just enabled the "Quick Links" feature and I got what I needed!!

Hopefully, this information will be benification to someone else too. :)

I've heard of people talking to themselves, but threading yourself is a new one to me.

Isn't it a matter of etiquette to post an answer when you find it ?

That said, I guess, in the end, it did end up looking silly.

Still, I just don't like leaving a question un-resolved, even if I was the one who asked the question. It's just me. :)
