is there a way to have gmail automatically divert a copy to another email address? With the way things crash periodically with gmail, i'd like it to automatically forward (without altering the sender info) email to another account that i can access. Probably something like yahoo mail

why would skynet take down google?
wouldnt they deal with pentagon first?

yes. the world revolves around america. there are no other military forces in this world.
(OT: this is why District 9 was so refreshing... Johannesburg, South Africa?! that's a first!)

Thought it was just me, because I've been having all kinds of connection problems lately. Kind of crazy for a service as popular as Gmail to be down this long, but it's free, so I guess I can't complain. Fortunately nothing I use my email for is really time critical.

edit: I believe Gmail does support email forwarding magomago.

Damn I came here to ask if it was down. It's been gone for an hour? I need my email urgently, if it doesn't come back in 30 mins I'm screwed.

IMAP or POP is still working

The POP and IMAP servers weren't down, just the web front-end.

But yeah, it's all working now, so it's a moot point I guess.

apparently my local sports talk radio station is still affected. they just read the down notice on air.
