google takes a while to load, but it does load. gmail never does. IL here.

I think this is actually the first time that "is google down for you" is not a user error/isolated issue.

Not entirely, can't get to it at work but used logmein.com to get to home desktop and it loaded just fine.

AT&T at work, Insight at home

RDP'd into a server in Warsaw and it loads fine there too :)

You know, for a while I was wondering how I would function without a search engine. Then my brain finally kicked back in and I realized that Yahoo! and MSN Search still exist.

Not here, everything from is running 100% as far as I can tell. All my emails are working and every other Google service I use is working too.

GET / HTTP/1.1
www.google.com

HTTP/1.1 200 OK

I wonder where the problem is, TWC in Austin has no problems getting to Google's servers.

The initial load for youtube for slow here, but every subsequent page view went just fine. This might be one of the few times I'm not cursing at Time Warner :p

I love how in my gmail chat window, they say that my internet connection is down, or that my network administrator has disabled gmail chat. As if it's 100% inconceivable that google/gmail would be having problems. heh

I forgot also

But it's interesting how many sites won't load because of google associations.

woot, slickdeals, etc.

Google-analytics keeps them from getting very far :(

Woot is loading fine for me. But maybe it's AdBlock stopping the google adverts before they even try to load.
