I do have them, but Gmail's pretty darn well done. I like it better than Squirrelmail or whatever my host has.
 
Never had problems with Gmail...(knocking on wood)

Have more problems with Hotmail....espically when trying to read it in Outlook!
 
You're not alone. It's down for me again too, for most of the morning as far as I can tell. It's becoming quite common these days. I set one up for my wife to use for personal emails and she's grown quite frustrated with it of late. I may eventually switch her over to Yahoo (at least until this gets out of beta) since she's also increasingly using their Launch radio.

It's a free email service so I can't really complain. I primarily use mine for online registrations and personal emails that I don't want on my email server at work. But the speed has been sporadic and the uptime quite buggy over the last few months. Fortunately, the particular email I was hoping to retrieve this morning was also Cc'd to my Yahoo address.
