I think this is happening for everyone. It has been happening to me for a whole day...really getting old. But hey...it's free and technically still in beta...so I can't give them that hard a time.
 
I signed in this morning. That window is still running and I receive my mail.

However, no one else can sign in now at my office. Strange. I tried to log into my spam account and couldn't. Still, the one I started this morning is working just fine.
