Gmail as default windows e-mail program? (and a HeatWare issue)

Is there a way to make Gmail the Windows default email application? Like if I click on a email link when browsing the web, it would open Gmail in a new window and fill in the email address?

Also, HeatWare may be needing a Windows based webhost with .NET support and SQL Server. If you have any suggestions on a reliable and affordable host, please let me know.

Thanks

His post was specific, yours ambiguous. He wins.

the only ambiguity in mine was "you know who to contact" regarding the heatware. i figure with a 3366 post count from heat23 who's been around since 1999, he'd know that rossman is the man for this stuff.

regarding pop goes the gmail, i don't think i could be more specific. i pointed out the applications, and how it would work with outlook. anubis meanwhile had no clue about making it the default program, and hence his advice was even less useful.
