How do they make money? Just through advertisments? What happens when a different company comes out with a better search engine? Is google done with?

in Friday's paper, it was said google makes 93% of their revenue through advertisments.

This why I'll be first in line buying their stock IF there is an drop off after the IPO and the stock seems to stabilize for a couple weeks. I expect, first a run up, then a crash after the honeymoon, then steady growth.

But, when it comes to stocks it has been proven that I am an idiot.
