It's a GREAT concept, and I think that every long wheel-base truck should have it. Mark my words, it will be back in one form or another...if not from GM, by someone else.

Dodge, I'll bet. Ford is hung up on their new body style, GM trucks haven't changed in a million years, Dodge is making steady changes to their line.

My Dad was looking at new trucks to pull their Airstream with, he liked the quadrasteer tech, but he said there was no way he was buying all the extra crap he didn't need just to get it.

Through the front door, yeah, it's part of some recockulous trim package. Through fleet, you can get it on top of a bare truck. You don't buy big trucks through the front door, you'll get pwnt.

I forget, but there is a new car (not truck) out that has four wheel steering, well not really, but the rear wheels rotate up to 5 degrees i think. Someone has got to know the car, because I dont right now. I've seen the commercials for it on tv.

It wasn't the Acura RL was it? It just puts power to the outside wheels for better cornering.

thats what i thought, but no its not it.

The car I saw the TV ad for (coulda been a flash animation on the web) actually had a commercial in it that, really, just has small actuators on the toe adjustements for the rear to make the wheels go toe in or toe out for enhanced steering. Its a non-domestic car to the best of my recollection.

I had a loaner truck with it for a little over a week. I was not in the market for a new truck but really like it when I was towing a boat up north and between lakes.
