GM Employee Discount for everyone Now Extended till 10/1!!!!

Here is an example of a Yukon discount:

Your Vehicle: 2005 Yukon XL Denali AWD

VIN: 1GKFK66U15J235238
Exterior: Summit White
Interior: Sandstone
MSRP:* $56,225.00
GMS: $47,665.28 (Employee Discount Price 🙂 )

Subtract from this, any current rebates (currently $3500 plus $1000 bonus cash) for a total of $43,165.28

Supplier discount is the same as the GM in the Driveway program discount. It is 4% over the GMS price listed above. It is listed on the invoice for each vehicle. Dealers generally will jump to make a deal at this price. A good deal all around.

We need more details. Is there a list that specifies the discount applicable per model??

The GMS website only provides pricing for employess (auth req'd). However, they do provide a list of eligable models:

vehicle eligability link

In short: "All new and unused 2004 and 2005 GM passenger cars, SUVs, minivans and light-duty trucks, including Saab and Saturn. HUMMER H1, Cadillac XLR, and medium-duty vehicles are not eligible. From time to time GM may restrict other vehicles."

Interestingly, the Corvette appears to be eligable now, but they'll only part with 40 per quarter. So, you won't be able to qualify for the '06 Z06, although you could probably get a good deal on an '05 Z51 if you're one of the lucky 40 (not likely, at least in Q2).

Will the current discounts and employee discount stack or will it be one and not the other? If the discounts stack, then I might go ahead and buy another cargo van for my business and Yukon XL Denali for my personal vehicle.

Incentives (Rebates, Bonus cash and or Financing) are in addition to the employer / Supplier discount. The only stipulation is that "sometimes", you must use GMAC financing.

Also, remember that incentives tend to change on the first of the month. Keep that in mind.

If anyone is SERIOUS about getting a new GM vehicle, I can find the employee price for you so you have a better idea of "BALLPARK" numbers.

why would they allow everyone to get GMS pricing without revealing what the GMS pricing are? this is just asking for unscrupulous dealers to rip off customers which then proceeds to generate even more animosity toward GM and its dealers.

I've actually been looking into getting a new vehicle lately, and if GM can show me a car I like at a really good price, it may actually be enough to get me to *gasp* buy domestic!

Looks like you can calcualte supplier pricing here:
https://www.gmfamilyfirst.com/pages/sd_login.jsp

from the drop down pick Pricing, it will pop you to a new window telling you that you are going to employee pricing and from there you can show and build a car and it will give you them 'Supplier Discount' price.

If that is the same or more then employee pricing I don't know, but it may be ballpark.

Hmm...this might be good to buy a 4x4 crew cab diesel 2500HD....instead of the more pratical (i wish) corvette 😛😉

is there a way for me to figure the pricing on either a GMC 2500HD or a Chevy 2500HD? I try using that thing above, but it asks for a dealer number or somethings.

With all the rebates on the Saab 9-2x aero last month, I have been watching the prices. With the employee rebate theres about a $8200.00 rebate on that model. use the link , and click on employee discount for everyone and configure the car; comes out to 19,425.00.

Pats2005 - Good luck finding a Saab 9-2X, Aero or Linear. Pretty well cleaned out nation-wide, plus I think that only the Aero's rebate continued past 5/31/05. I found one yesterday in Houston for a friend whose daughter is moving there next week to work at Rice. They did still have a Linear (color: silver) in Houston also, but as I noted, the rebate didn't seem to be in effect based on the quote he got on it, vs. the price he paid for the Aero.

Thoreau - what type of car do you like ? I'm sure we have something that will fit. If you're in to 'tuners, the new Cobalt SS Coupe is pretty sweet, just opt for the (much) smaller rear wing and solid interior color. Sweet motor and tranny in this car, and it has gotten excellent reviews for both quality and safety (1 of the only 2 {18 total tested} cars in its class that passed all crash tests). The SS is just getting in to the dealers at this point though, so you may have to hunt a little bit. I regretted having to give up mine at the end of its 2-month stay (I get evaluation vehicles to drive).

If you want luxury, look no further than the new STS. Rates very well against the Audis and BMW's. Proves GM is really getting its act together on interiors, one of our previous weakpoints (hehe ... in an AMD-like move, we hired the chief interior designer responsible for all those previous awards given to Audi & VW ... now we're even supplying our world-class interior modules to the other big hitters ... just ask Mercedes, our new interior module for their M class recently notched some major cudos).

Midsize, the new G6 GT coupe from Pontiac also merits mention, but it too is just starting to hit dealers.

The Saab dealer by me had at least 10 in stock when i went by yesterday. I didnt really like them at all though. They are smaller than i expected. It reminded me of a nice version of the old Ford Escort Wagon. (with a heck of a lot more power though)

stevent, One of the negatives was the low roof and smallish feel. Being 6 feet however, I don't think it will be too much of a problem. I fit quite well it a Mitsu Eclipse atm 😀. (picture putting a cardboard box over your head with a slat cut out for the window, only smaller) . I have to agree with the power on the machine. This is basically a WRX for 20k (227 hp), which is a heckuva lotta car for that price.
midnight, if you go to the link i posted, GM's website will price out the car for you. It that pricing, I think that rebate is still included. It does say, however, that these offers are at participating dealerships only. Perhaps your friend should check out another dealership in the Houston area.
