did you guys just go to your local dealers and ask about the offer? cause i went to that site and filled all the stuff in, but didn't win anything. so can i just go to my local dealer and ask about this promotion, and they will give me my gift certificate? or should i print something out about it? thanks!

I printed out the voucher from the link e-mailed to me this morning.
I drove to the Chevrolet dealer and a salesman approached immediately and asked if he could help me. I said I have one of these test drive things. He put his hand out and said he'd be right back. I waited about 3 minutes. He came back with it filled out and said here you go.
There was never any mention of the test drive. I have done a few of these before and have told the guy up front that there was no way I was going to buy but I would take the test drive if he wanted me to. I never have, but this time I didn't even get a chance to say it.
Don't the manufacturers know this is the way it is working? I wonder if they sell even one car as a result of this.

FYI this offer is valid in the states only. i visited a couple of dealerships this weekend in canada and unfortunately they informed me of that. oh well, looks like i'll be taking a trip across the border this weekend.

I tried two of these GM rebate offers over the last 6 months or so. One was for GM, the other was a Old's offer. I have yet to see any refund or BUY.com certificate that was promised in the Old's test drive offer.

You should have seen them this weekend. Went around lunch (when they were busy) with my 12 month old daughter. I said, "I understand I need to test drive the Corvette here in order to have you sign my voucher. Let me just get the car seat and I'll be ready to go!"

I test drove (and actually bought) a new Olds in March using the $50 buy.com promotion. I still haven't received my GC. I have written like 6 emails to their support dept., which totally blows. They are saying it's a problem with buy.com, not with Olds. Supposedly, I will hear something from them this week, ya, right!
damn, that blows. I hope i get my GC. I wasn't in there more than 3 minutes, literally. 5 min total cause i had to park the car, get out, get back in, leave.
