GM 5 year 60K mile warranty... when did this begin?

hmmm... i wonder if this is just based upon their drivetrain warranties (which are 5 years) i didnt read the fine print or anything, but they said 5 year 60k mile warranties... hmmm maybe they will have another commercial... it was on TNT during Saving Private Ryan.
