Are you sure these are the same cables? The pictures look a little different on the 2 different sites. I don't minnd paying a little more if it's going to glow better.

Can't be sure, but I would guess that the Openlinx pictures are taken under normal light, while the SVC pictures are taken under blacklight. Could very well be the same cables.

Cool cables!

Dang SVC is no longer selling single device IDE cables.

That openlinx site has some other cool stuff. Like the new TMD fans from ystech....

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this definitely doesn't look like "glow in the dark". Won't just about any white-ish color glow under black light? To me, "Glow in the dark" has always meant that something will...well...GLOW IN THE DARK. Contrary to what the name might suggest, black light is not dark :D

I have a front drive economy case. I jammed a paper clip in one of the fans so it makes lots of noise. These glowing cables will be the perfect final touch.

magis123 - Don't EVEN get me started on the whole http://riceboypage.com thing. Ugh! Coffee can sized mufflers for cars with 1.4 liter motors, 20" wheels with genuine simulated disc brake covers on the drums, racing stickers all over the place and, my favorite, a wing on the back that makes a 1970 Plymouth Superbird look tame.

What's with those stupid wings anyhow? I had a 1987 Thunderbird TurboCoupe that I pushed to 140mph one day. It still had room to go but my balls just weren't big enough to find out what it would top out at. If my T-Bird didn't need a wing for 140+mph, then those rice-burners MUST be capable of 170 mph or more!

Best bumper sticker seen on a lifted 4x4:

Low riders are for guys who can't get it UP!

I wish they were glow in the dark , black light is not glow in the dark, it means you must have a black light shining on them to get them to look like that, who here actually has a black light shining down into their computer case? not me....

none of the regular rounded IDE cables i've ever seen/purchased react to UV. Most people either coat theirs in UV reactive paint/film, or make their own molded plastic with UV reactive dye. This is the first time i've seen them online for under $25, not to mention ata 133. The next step will be blue/red/yellow UV cables.

A "riced out" case would consist of lame stickers, a brightly painted case, bass-flashing neons/leds, and over priced hardware made to look as ghetto as possible. Glow in the dark cables are all geek baby!!
