MALTA, N.Y. (WRGB) - GlobalFoundries is celebrating its 10 year anniversary in Malta.
Despite more than 200 layoffs back in November, Malta town leaders say the company has delivered more than promised ten years ago.

Should be interesting to see how much longer GF can stay at current capacity. For Malta's sake, let's hope they keep at it for awhile. Could they lease the fab to Samsung or TSMC in the future?

You'd be surprised. A large portion (like 30-40%) of TSMC's business is ancient nodes (> 28).
