this is very rare, however, i sometimes get glittering pixels when looking at pictures. is this b/c of FRC (frame rate control) from TN panels?

FRC is algorithms which can produce a new colour from to favourable. In most cases it works fine but if the algorithms fail to produce a new colour a glittering phenomenon can occur (can be seen occasionally when watching movies)."
