It seems that, even at listed framerates of 100+, my performance in ut2k4 is still quite glitchy. when making quick turns it is most notable. it still feels fast, it just seems to be skipping frames. i am running at highest detail everything, but, interestingly enough, even when i turn the settings down to crap and push frames over 200 i still get the same thing. anyone have any ideas? could this be a problem with crappy ram?

*running at pc2700. my totally loaded friend got this stick of ram, saw that it wouldnt run stably at pc3500, and just gave it to me. i often wonder if it is the source of my problems. not that there are any others, really. i was actually having a problem w/ 3d mark 03 quitting out after 1 test that someone else on the forum was having, and people were suggesting it must be faulty ram, but lo and behold my motherboard arrived the next day and now the test runs fine. ive run the memory test thing on it too without problems.
so, any glaring problems that anyone can see? or am i screwed and have to deal with it.
