I'd love to be on that jury. The punitive damages would hit the pocketbook (as they should, and is the purpose of punitive damages.)
 
Do you really trust the FBI? When they say they cleared someone of wrongdoing, that just means there is not enough evidence to make a charge stick. I see nothing wrong with discussing and issue in the news. Look at how many people said "the juice" is guilty of killing his wife? He was cleared in court. If it is a person in the news you can discuss it.
 
I'm surprised there's any partisan defense of Beck. Both because this was an extremely terrible thing to do and because he seems more like a conspiracy nut to me than a right wing commentator.

Its not about tolerance. It's about the dangers that these propagandists represent. Suppose someone would have killed this kid because Glenn Beck told people that he was a terrorist. How would you feel of you were made a target and starting getting harassed by right wing loonies?

Glenn Beck lied his ass off to make a dime at this kids expense, and this is one thing that goes to show you the true nature of these "moral crusaders".

Fair enough. Glenn Beck should be sued for what he did, I said that in my earlier post. He falsely accused this guy even when he was told he was wrong.

You would be in favor but many of the leftists would be silent. Leftist morons are happy about this but won't say anything if a leftist does it. I don't like the hypocrisy. Spike Lee gave out the wrong address shortly after Trayvon Martin was killed, How many leftists went after him?
