Gladys Knight or Aretha Franklin?

i realize aretha's impact but prefer listening to gladys. in fact i even prefer hearing the warwick/bacharach combo to aretha. but if you made me pick a favorite song amongst those three, it would probably be aretha's one step ahead.

Never really liked the sound of Gladys Knight, no disrespect.

Aretha is awesome. She brings a rhythm, energy, and emotion to songs that few others can.
 
Gladys, for sure

EDIT: Aretha has better and more powerful voice, but I like Gladys' style.
