I thought gladiator was a good xfer? Or maybe I was just assuming that because it's part of the sapphire series?

Not a huge fan of the movie, so I doubt I'll buy it, but I am glad they re-released it with a proper transfer. The original one looked terrible, missing arrows and whatnot. :D

I'm sure the transfer was good until they image-enhanced it to death. Missing arrows FTL.

I might have to pick this up now.

Nice find!

It had some issues, but to me they were hardly noticeable when compared with the sloppy original DVD versions. Mostly it had a lot of weird jaggies or haloing in spots around the actors or scenery while the camera or actors were moving a lot. That's all I noticed, anyhow. I'm sure on larger displays than my 46" the mastering problems were a lot more noticeable.
