Well...even after placing this order, I was still skeptical as it was almost too good to be true. However, a I recieved a rather large package from Staples today. Inside was both my Elsa Gladiac and my free TV. Simply amazing. This deal with as smooth as one could hope for. The fact that it was scheduled to be delivered on the 26th and was instead delivered several days earlier is itself, amazing as well.

I just got my GTS and TV (woo hoo!), but I was wondering.....


I thought Elsa printed their cards on a blue backing (not too sure about that one... thought I read it somewhere) and when I went on the elsa website and it says it's supposed to come with a DVD playing program but I didn't get one... anyone?

Well, first it was the overnight delivery of the card, now 2 days later, I just recieved my Blue TV. This is unbelievable... When are they supposed to charge my CC? They made a CREDIT for 74.67 (the price of the TV as stated on the TV's invoice) and later made a CHARGE for the same amount (strange), But I still have yet to be charged for the Graphics card. Oh well, I am happy got my card, and got my FREE TV (still waiting on my free controller), but didn't get a cancellation notice.

How are some people already getting their cards so soon? Mine was predicted to get here around the 26th like everyone else...and it is still "Processing", but my T.V. has already been shipped. I sure hope I get this card...but if they cancel the order, does that mean i have to go through the hassle of mailing them back their stupid T.V.?

Guess i'll find out tomorrow...since if it suppose to be here by the 26th it is going to have to be shipped tomorrow.

Got both, card and TV yesterday. Ordered card on Monday online, price-matched Onvia Tuesday - 5 min, no problems, no discussion about the cupon. Status was still "processing" while I was already holding the card in my hands. Will have to wait which charge will show up on the CC.
Doesn't realy matter to me since it was bought on the Amex Blue, if Staples gives problems Amex will price-match up to 60 days. Used this ones on the SMC router (payed $154 in September, reduced to $98 in November).

Semi stupid question following. I guess Staples delivered the card yesterday. They put it in front of my car in my driveway. Problem is, I didn't drive my car yesterday so the box wasn't noticed till this morning at 9:00. Figure the card was out about 16 hours in temps around 30 degrees. The outer box looks fine. Should I be worried?

Hey, I can get these from an egay seller for about $120-$130 shipped if I buy like 6 cards at once. The card is made by Visiontek, and from what I hear, Visiontek makes the Elsa Gladiac cards too. Email me at chopin@mail.utexas.edu if you are interested. I just need like 6 people...and no more...cause I don't want to deal with too many people's money. Let the card warm up a little before you plug it in. Otherwise you might fry something from condensation. When I pulled my free tv from the box it was cold enough that I saw moisture form on the picture tube.

Dude, this deal is NOT dead, it depends where you live!! Or something, because it was NOT sold out when I bought it!!

I ordered my Gladiac on Tuesday (12/19) at about 2 p.m. eastern time. Did the pricematch and used the coupon, $124 shipped. Not only that...

...he told me I should expect it December 27th...

...I come home Wednesday (12/20) and the thing is ALREADY HERE!!! Talk about kick-ass man, this was the TOPS. A Geforce2 GTS for the price of an MX.

Just to let you all know, give it a shot. Don't give up on ordering just because it's been said "this deal is dead". I orderd the bloody thing two days ago (well, 3 now) and got it overnight. That's far from dead.

I called Staples several times this week to make sure my card was coming, and it came today (THursday). I ordered Monday and I live in the west coast. It was shipped UPS from California. I had tried to get info about the shipment before it arrived, but the CSR's at staples could not tell me much because another distributor handles their "high-tech" items. Apparently this was why they could not give me shipment info, including if it had shipped, what the tracking number was, etc. This is also why most of the people's orders still say processing when they actually had received their order. What am I trying to say? I dunno, but if it says processing, it's a good chance you're going to get it. I can't remember the name of the company the CSR told me that handles their high tech gear. ANyways, just my two cents.

Thanks. Thing is I can't even try it out yet because my Pentium II doesn't have an AGP slot. This baby is going in to my Thunderbird in progress. I'm concerned that it may be a while till I'm able to make sure it works properly.

I got my Gladiac and TV today, but my CC charges only indicate a credit of 43.50, there is NO CHARGE at all for this yet.

This might turn out to be a flaming hot deal !
