Go over to the Hot Deals forum and their are several postings on this specific card. You can get a much better price than this. I got mine for $127 but haven't installed it yet. I think you can get it for $130. Go check out those posts. They have lots of info on them. Good Luck.

I have a Elsa Gladiac GF2. It's a pretty good card, very fast. But the 2D quality is so-so. I have a Sony (t-tron) monitor, some have said that GF cards are worse on those types of monitors. My Matrox G400 and Radeon 32MB DDR smoke it in 2D and the 3D quality of the Radeon is fantastic. The GF2 is the peformance king, generally 25% faster than my Radeon (I run win2k). Windows9x users get better performance, so the difference is more like 15% under win9x/ME. I've had fewer problems with the Radeon in Tribes and UT. The Gladiac is smoother in Tribes (OGL) but not as smooth in UT (D3D),beats me as to why. I'm sending the Gladiac back and keeping the Radeon. Speed isn't everything to me. I paid $165 (not including shipping) for the Gladiac - there was a good deal here, don't know if it's still at a good price. buy.com has a $30 off coupon right now, so check on that first (don't know if it's for new or returning customers).

PIII733, 256MB Cas2 Ram, Asus P3V4X running W2k.

The 32mb Elsa Gladiac is a good card. I've been using mine since last July and it works great. I paid about $220 after coupons, pointclick, and pm'ing.
