giving users different email addresses in exchange 2000

How do I give a user a different email address. I know that if a user logs on a jdoe his email address is also jdoe. Well what if a user does not want jdoe as there email address and they want mdoe as there address how can I go about setting this up.

You could add an alias to /etc/mail/aliases.
