Give Me Suggestions on a Good & Fairly New Computer RPG

Well I'm not a huge RPG fan, but I can enjoy an occasional RPG. I enjoyed some of the Final Fantasy series but I don't have a PS2, and would like to see what their like on computer. *Note* I don't want a MMORPG.

So I'm just looking for a reccomendation on a fairly new (where the graphics don't look really outdated) RPG on computer.

Baulders Gate 1, 2, and the add-ons, Planetscape Torment, Icewind Dale. Those are your hardcore D&D style games (BG and ID both use the D&D rule set I think).

Morrowind comes out this month or next, and will be the top RPG probably. It's in the Elder Scrolls series.

Wizzardry 8 just came out, and got fantastic ratings. You could also try Summoner, it was merely average however.

Dungeon Siege comes out in a couple of months also, lots of folks looking forward to it.

Woah. Not so many, lol. Just looking for what people consider to be the BEST RPG at the moment or to come out soon. Do computer RPG's compare well with console RPGs?

i haven't played too many rpg's..
i love final fantasy series, and chronotrigger...
for computer rpgs, i played a little of planescape torment, but i found it a little too much reading. it was still fun though...
icewind dale was pretty cool
fallout 1 and 2 are oldies but goodies, but i love them..so fun
although many people don't consider diablo1 and 2 "real" rpg's, but i love playing them...
i tried wizardry, but i dont' like those 3d rpg's. i want to play arcanum and both baulder's gate still
